Posted 14Jul09 - AMENDMENT to the Sailing Instructions (Page Down)
Amendment to the General Conditions and Sailing Instructions for 2009
CR4. CLASS PENNANTS, is amended as follows:
ADD;
Cruiser/Racer      Lime Green

THE ADDITION OF A FOURTH FLEET: “CRUISING/RACING”, FOR 2009.
1.  Active members of BBYRA may
ELECT TO join this fleet by application to and approval of the BBYRA Board.  No additional registration fees will be required for this lateral transfer in year 2009.
2.  This fleet will become active for the BBYRA Fall Series 2009. The creation of this fleet is consistent with the trend at most regattas to provide a venue for boats primarily designed as cruisers with the potential for family racing. BBYRA race committees may offer separate race courses for this class.
3.  Boats electing to join this Fleet in 2009 will forfeit those points accrued during the Spring Series towards the 2009 BBYRA Annual Championship.
4.  Characteristics governing selection to this fleet by the BBYRA Board may include but are not limited to:
a. Boat is “wet” sailed.
b. Inboard power with permanent propeller installation.
c. Functioning marine head with holding tank.
d. Overlapping head sails.
e. Spinnaker pole with symmetric spinnaker.

If you want to be posted on our crew list please remember to update it periodically or it will be deleted after 6 months.  We want to provide our skippers with the most current and useful information as possible.  You are welcomed to fill out a crew application located on our Go Sailing page.
